Biography: Vladimir Gusev is a successful artist of landscape, portrait, still life and genre paintings. His paintings are always poetic, entertaining and optimistic, and his art in general is filled with lightness and ease of perception. For some time the artist lived and worked in France, which brought to his painting Renoir’s light colours. The creative formation of the artist is attributed to the study at the Moscow State Institute of Art im.V.I. Surikov, but the first and most important teacher was his father – Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Vladimirovich Gusev.
Vladimir Gusev was an active participant in many Moscow, Russian and international exhibitions. Paintings of Vladimir Gusev are in private and corporate collections of art lovers from Russia, China, Japan, USA, France, Belgium, Italy, Yugoslavia, Germany, England, Poland, Finland and Turkey.
