A delightful pair of oil on canvas paintings by Frederick Pasmore (fl.1875-1884) of cottage interiors with children and animals.

Frame: Presented in later decorative gilt wooden frame.
Signature: Lower left and dated 1882.
Provenance: Lawrence’s, Crewkerne April 19th 1979, Lot# 162. Sold for £4,000 plus buyer’s premium. (see photos)
Condition: Both paintings and frames are in very good condition.
Measurements: Each painting measures 44 x 34cm and the overall frame 61 x 51cm.
Biography: Frederick George Pasmore Jnr (fl.1875-1884). The artist is said to have been related to Daniel and Emily Pasmore and specialised in animal and figurative paintings living at Camden Town, London.
